My friend only has 1/8 of her liver that is functioning,she also has hep C and a family trait of liver problem?

The doctor said he cannot give her a time frame but it does not look good and he told her to go be with Family and friends. She just got back to her hometown a few days ago and has been staying ay my house the last few days. Het stomach where her liver is hurts and she is nauseous and no appetite and flu like symptoms.
