Which arm is it better to get a shot in?

I have to get a shot for school (whooping cough) and I'm pretty scared of shots, not going to lie. I don't know how bad it hurts cause I haven't gotten a shot in so long, but to reduce the pain, should I get it in my dominant arm (right) or left? Which one would it hurt less in? even though the arm might be sore after
